The annual golf tournament has become a treasured day for the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, because the tournament Josh hosted was one of his favorite days of the year. The tournament has been one way we’ve continued to celebrate his life, which he lived with kindness, generosity, appreciation and wit. It’s a day that we remember Josh and his love for golf, friendship, scotch, cigars and Guinness, and we also celebrate his love of the arts.
This fundraising event helps the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation to further its purpose of “creating experiences that elevate the human spirit.” Since 2008, more than one million patrons have visited Freeman Arts Pavilion, formerly The Freeman Stage, and more than 225,000 students have experienced the arts through our Arts Education program.
